Terms of service
Last updated 25 August 2026
These terms cover your use of Formwire. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind that company.
What the service is
Formwire receives form submissions from your website, stores them, and delivers them to the chat channels you connect. It does not send email notifications. Everything the service does is described in our documentation; nothing is promised here that the product does not do.
Your account
- You are responsible for what your forms collect and for having a lawful basis to collect it.
- You must not use Formwire to collect passwords, payment card numbers, or credentials.
- You must not use it for phishing, for harvesting credentials, or to send traffic you do not have permission to send.
- We may suspend an account that is doing any of the above, and will tell you why.
Plans, payment, and cancellation
Paid plans are billed through Paddle, our merchant of record, monthly or yearly in advance. Prices are shown before you pay. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan continues to the end of the period you already paid for, and we do not refund partial periods.
If a payment fails we keep your service running while we retry, and tell you in the dashboard. We do not delete data because a payment failed.
Limits
Each plan includes a monthly submission allowance. Past it, we keep accepting and storing submissions but stop delivering them to channels, and show you a banner. Well past it we return an error to the submitting page. We never silently discard a submission.
Your data
Your submissions are yours. You can export everything at any time, and deleting your account erases it. See the privacy policy and the data processing agreement.
Availability and liability
We work hard to keep the service up and we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on these terms. The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Saying that plainly: we are a small operation, we take reliability seriously, and we are not in a position to underwrite consequential losses. If that is not enough for your use case, please do not rely on us for it.
Changes
We will give 30 days' notice of material changes to these terms or to our subprocessors. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.
